CRSA SERIES RETURNS TO ORANGE COUNTY FAIR SPEEDWAY SATURDAY
Oneonta, New York…The CRSA Sprint Tour is heading back to the historic “Hard Clay” of the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, New York Saturday. This will be the tour’s fourth appearance at the speedway. The tour has had three different winners at the speedway. Cory Sparks, Brian Krummel, and Scott Goodrich all have wins at the Orange County Fair Speedway in 2015. Halmar International and Goldenarea Furniture of Middletown are the evening’s presenting sponsors.
After one week off, the CRSA Tour is coming off a two weekend race weekend with two first time winners in the 2015 season. Emily VanInwegen won at Five Mile Point and Chad Miller came home first at Utica Rome to win his first ever CRSA feature.
The point battle is also heating up with Josh Pieniazek in the top spot with Kyle Smith and Dalton Herrick close behind. After twelve events in the record book, CRSA has had eight different winners. Scott Goodrich and Brian Krummel are the only drivers with more than one feature win.
When racing returns to Orange County Fair Speedway on Saturday another great field of sprint cars is expected. Heat races and another exciting twenty lap feature are on the schedule. Racing on August 8th begins promptly at 6:30 pm. Admission remains $14 for adults, $12 seniors, and $1 for children 12 and under.
