Canandaigua, NY – The SuperGen Products with Champion Power Equipment CRSA Sprint Car Series invaded the Land of Legends Raceway for a double header event and when all was said and done, the series crowned a first-time winner.

Track regular Alysha Bay made an exciting late race pass to pick up the win during Friday nights action. Bay took the lead from fellow regular Dan Bennett to pick up the win. Matt Tanner crossed the line second however was disqualified for being light over the scales. A former series champion, Tanner was making his first CRSA start of the season.

Billy VanInwegen would move up to second in the final rundown with Brandyn Griffin third, Bennett fourth and Emily VanInwegen fifth. Heat races for the 26-car field were won by Griffin, Billy VanInwegen and Daryl Ruggles.

On Saturday night qualifying was complete and the Maguire Family of Dealerships Dash for Cash was being pushed off when the skies opened up. After about an hour rain delay, racing was postponed. The $1,000 to win, 20-lap A-Main event and Maguire Family of Dealerships Dash for Cash will be run when the CRSA returns to the Land of Legends Raceway on Saturday July 21st.

Heat races for the 22-Car field were won by Ruggles, Jeff Trombley and Thomas Radivoy. These three drivers plus the top three finishers from Friday nights A-Main (Baye, Billy VanInwegen, Griffin) will make up the special, $300 to win Maguire Family of Dealership Dash for Cash.

On Friday night the Magsarus Ignitions Electrifying Move of the Race Award ($25) was awarded to Baye. The Powder Tech Powder Coating Hard Charger Award was awarded to Tyler Cartier.
