CRSA Heads Home To The Ridge On Sunday

Fultonville, NY (5/31/19) – The SuperGen Products with Champion Power Equipment CRSA Sprint Car Series will return to action this Sunday evening at a place the winged warriors used to call home – the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park. The third round of the 2019 season will see the stars and cars return to one of the original CRSA tracks from the series first season back in 2006.
In all 12 CRSA events have been held at the Fastest Quarter Mile on Dirt. Steve Lapine won the first race back on June 11th, 2006 and followed it up with two more wins to lead everyone on the all-time CRSA A-Main winners list at the track. Former regulars Jeremy Quick (both in 2006) and Danny Varin (2012 and 2014) each have two wins while Warren Alexson (2007), Jami Russel (2008), Darryl Ruggles (2014), Josh Pieniazek (2015) and Billy VanInwegen each have one win.
VanInwegen, who was locked in a fierce battle with eventual Weedsport winner Darryl Ruggles one week ago, picked up the last checkered flag at The Ridge on July 22nd, 2016.
Sunday’s event will also be the first event of the Kennedy’s Towing Northway/90 Challenge. This one of two mini-series that are held within the overall 14-race CRSA schedule.
