CRSA Track of Champions Bound Saturday

Fonda, NY (9/13/19) – The stars and cars of the 2019 SuperGen Products with Champion Power Equipment CRSA Sprint Car Series will roll into the Fonda Speedway on Saturday evening for the 12th round of the season. The event will be the next to last event on the 2019 schedule and also the next to last event in the Kennedy’s of Troy Northway/90 Challenge Series.
The series last visited the 105-year-old Track of Champions on July 27th with Cooperstown’s Mike Kiser picking up the win. Connecticut’s Sydney Prince finished second with Thomas Radivoy third, defending series Rookie of the Year Justin Mills fourth and two time and defending series champion Jeff Trombley fifth.
Trombley currently holds not only the overall points lead but the Northway/90 Challenge Series points lead. In the overall standings Trombley holds a 107-point advantage over Darryl Ruggles. Mills, Alysha Bay and Round number 11 (Land of Legends Raceway) winner Johnny Kolosek complete the top five.
In the Northway/90 Challenge Series Standings, Trombley holds a scant two-point advantage over Emily VanInwegen. Dalton Herrick is third, 20 points back with Mills and former Fonda Speedway Modified division regular Dana Wagner fifth.
So far in the Northway/90 Challenge Series Kiser, Wagner (Glen Ridge Motorsports Park) and Trombley (Albany-Saratoga Speedway) have been victorious. The finale will also be the season finale, held on Friday nigh October 11th at the Afton Motorsports Park, a part of the Short Track Super Nationals event.
