A Look Ahead: Fonda Speedway Ignites with Six Events Scheduled in May

FONDA, NY – Fonda Speedway ignites in the month of May.

The famed Track of Champions boasts six events on the docket for May: five Saturday programs and one midweek program as the 2025 season shifts into high gear at the half-mile venue.

A look at the month ahead:

· Saturday, May 3 – The F.X. Caprara Car Companies Thunder on the Thruway Series Round No. 1 offers $4,000 to win for the Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds, $1,500 to win for the Swagger Factory Apparel Sportsman and $1,000 to win for the Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks plus the Montgomery County Office for Aging Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders (points begin, all divisions). Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modifieds return with a make-up race from April 26. Race fan Wayne Winsman will be recognized during the night, as well. Since 1953, the Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing. The speedway operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
