Rain and Cold Take Fonda Out for First Rainout of 2025

FONDA, N.Y. – Mother Nature scored her first win over CRSA this year as Fonda Speedway and CRSA officials called Saturday’s running of the I-90 Pit Stop Challenge a rainout.
Over a half-inch of rain continues to fall on the Fonda fairgrounds, saturating the track and its surroundings. Couple that with cold temperatures below average, and officials had no choice but to not race tonight.

The A-Verdi Storage Containers CRSA Sprints now focus on their first two-in-two of the season at Penn Can Speedway and Thunder Mountain Speedway June 6 and 7, respectively, to kick off the Joe's Garage Southern Tier Miniseries. Both nights can be seen live on Dirt Track Digest TV.
