Recognizing Our Miniseries Champions for 2025

Press Release By: Marty Czekala – October 17, 2025 – Photos By: Erika Bye

As the A-Verdi Storage Containers CRSA Sprints wraps up the 2025 season, we wanted to recognize our four miniseries champions out of the Dandy Miniseries, Joe’s Garage Southern Tier Series, DisBatch Brewing Company Challenge and the I-90 Pit Stop Challenge.

DANDY MINISERIES: 66 JORDAN HUTTON

Jordan Hutton looked to be in prime position to take the Dandy Miniseries championship with a pair of runner-up finishes at Outlaw and Woodhull in the Spring.

“I’m pretty happy with it,” said Hutton after finishing runner-up at Woodhull.

When the series returned to Outlaw in August, Hutton dominated this race for his lone win so far of 2025.

“I think we finally got this thing going to say the least,” said Hutton in victory lane. “That was definitely an endurance race. I had a lot of fun.”

As the series went into Woodhull the next night, it was just keeping the nose clean that would clinch him the Dandy Miniseries title by 26 points on Zach Sobotka.

“We show excellent speed every time we come to Woodhull and Outlaw.”

This joins the I-90 Pit Stop Challenge Championship Hutton won last year, along with his overall champion and DisBatch Brewing Company Challenge championship the No. 66 team won back in 2023.

Hutton now enters Saturday night’s Hoag Memorial at Outlaw as one to watch out for to get a good finish.

The official sponsor of the Dandy Miniseries, Dandy is a full convenient store with excellent food service and a large selection of fuel. With over 60 locations in the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Pennsylvania, Dandy's mission is to ensure that every customer receives courteous service while providing quality products at a fair price in a safe environment.

JOE’S GARAGE SOUTHERN TIER SERIES: 8 DILLON PADDOCK

With Penn Can having both their events rained out, only Thunder Mountain hosted a pair of Joe’s Garage Southern Tier Series races.

As the only driver to finish on the podium in both races at Center Lisle in 2025, Dillon Paddock scored the Southern Tier Series title.

“Thunder Mountain was definitely a turnaround for us this year,” said Paddock. “Consistency is the name of the game this year for us. Not usually something of my nature, but just happened to work out that way this year.”

This season, Paddock recorded five wins in series competition, sweeping the pair of races at Ransomville, edging out Zach Sobotka in a photo finish at Weedsport last race, climbing seven spots on a restart to win at Albany-Saratoga and scoring a late-race pass at Woodhull.

The official sponsor of the Southern Tier Series, Joe's is a one-stop shop for automotive maintenance. It also offers 23.5-hour towing and roadside assistance for any issues. Joe's is located on the corner of Robinson and Bradywine in Binghamton. Issues? Call the 24/7 number at (607) 723-3520.

DISBATCH BREWING COMPANY CHALLENGE: 80 BOBBY PARROW

The 305 Sprint track champion at Land of Legends Bobby Parrow showed what he was made of once again in Canandaigua.

With two podiums, including a win July 5 in the Jason Quigley Memorial, “BP80” successfully defended the DisBatch Brewing Company Challenge from last year by five points on Zach Sobotka and Jeff Trombley.

“It’s great to have DisBatch Brewing get behind this every year,” said Parrow after the final Challenge race. “It seemed pretty good, but we’ll tweak it a little more. I could use a beer right now and hopefully I can get one of those 800 Horsepowers.”

It was another dominant season for Parrow at his Saturday night home, winning five races and scoring 12 top fives in 14 starts. In CRSA competition, Parrow also recorded a victory at Weedsport in May.

“It’s been a pretty good year,” said Parrow in Land of Legends’ press release after winning the track title. “We will definitely be back next year. I’m not sure how much longer we’re going to continue this but we’ll be back next year for sure.”

The official sponsor of the DisBatch Challenge at Land of Legends, DisBatch started as beer lovers and gave time in service to others. They now remain committed to those traits as brewery owners and brewers. Try a beer on tap at 3250 Canandaigua Road in Macedon.

I-90 PIT STOP CHALLENGE: 38 ZACH SOBOTKA

In his first full season of 305 Sprint Car competition, Sobotka looked dominant at the tracks along the New York State Thruway.

His first career victory came at Utica-Rome in June, the track he came across the line first last year before coming up light on the scales. Redemption day came strong for the No. 38.

After winning, Sobotka became the first driver to win back-to-back in two year at CRSA’s inaugural trip to Fulton Speedway, making a late race pass on Bobby Parrow.

Finally, Sobotka returned to his former Friday hometrack of Brewerton where he won a Sportsman championship in the past, this time recording a 305 Sprint Car victory.

Just amongst the five wins Sobotka recorded in 2025, in addition to a 360 win at Brewerton and a top 10 with the World of Outlaws at Weedsport.

“In our first year, this was more than we could’ve asked for,” said Sobotka. “We’ve always wanted to do this and now we have the opportunity to do it.”

All Sobotka just has to do is show up to Outlaw Saturday night, draw a pill and attempt to fire the car for hot laps to become the first rookie champion since John Virgilio in 2011.

“We’re going in there just trying to win. It’ll be a fun one,” said Sobotka.
