Land of Legends Postponed Due To Wet Grounds, Outlaw Speedway Still On
Press Release By: Marty Czekala – May 6, 2026
CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – Saturated grounds and a wet forecast have forced track and CRSA officials to rain out Saturday’s event at Land of Legends Raceway.
“Canandaigua took another inch of rain overnight and has set us back for pit drying,” according to Land of Legends’ Facebook page in a statement Wednesday. “We had been making great progress but with the current status and the forecast showing continued rain showers over the next days, we are making the early decision.”
Following the rainout, Land of Legends is planning a practice session May 14 for drivers to test and tune their cars. The season opener is scheduled for May 16 as a weekly points show.
Mike Emhof, Paul Cole and the rest of Land of Legends are working on a makeup date. Stay tuned to social media channels across CRSA and Land of Legends and CRSASprints.com and LandOfLegendsRaceway.com for further updates.
Outlaw Speedway, per track promoter Tyler Siri, remains a go for Friday night to kick off the Dandy Miniseries, claiming the facility is still in great shape and ready to go.
